Fields of use
Induction heating allows us to heat applicable items for applications such as surface hardening, brazing, preheating for forging, melting, soldering and schrink fitting.
The best respondent to induction heating is, iron and its alloys, due to their ferromagnetic nature. Eddy currents can be generated in any conductor, and magnetic hysteresis can occur in any magnetic material. Induction heating is also used to heat liquid conductors (molten metals) and also gaseous conductors (gas plasma). Induction heating is often used for preheating for forging, to heat graphite crucibles and is used extensively in the industy of semiconductors for the heating of silicon and other semiconductors.
