PLASMA GRAIN
A consortium of 8 companies successfully applied for the DEMO PILOT II Call for Proposals to provide incentives for development and innovation activities to carry out pilot / demonstration projects that will reduce time from idea to market, obtain references and strengthen the competitive position of businesses and positioning them in existing and new value chains and increasing private sector investment in development and innovation.
The purpose of the PLASMA GRAIN project is to apply the plasma treatment method to the seed / grain treatment (disinfection) process, which is a new milestone in agriculture globally. The project activities are divided into 2 sections: experimental development of the mobile plasma reactor and transparent demonstration of plasma treatment of cereals and legumes in the real environment and directly on the field.
