Induction heating process

How does it work?

The main parts of the induction heating equipment are a power frequency generator, an induction heating coil and the work piece, which is heated.

The converter is emiting an alternate current in the induction coil, where an electromagnetic field is generated. If a metal or electrical conductive work piece is placed in the induction coil, the electromagnetic field induces eddy currents in the surface of the metal object, thus heating it. The current density is very high and the objects surface heats up very fast.
